One of the county's fastest growing population centers, West County's boundaries are roughly Lindbergh Boulevard on the east, Big Bend Boulevard on the south, Page Avenue on the north, and the county line on the west. "West County" unofficially encompasses the following communities.

Just over 30 minutes from downtown St. Louis you will find the residential communities of Ballwin, Manchester and Ellisville. These picturesque communities are nestled among the rolling, wooded hills of west St. Louis County.
One of the newest cities in West County, Wildwood was incorporated in 1996 and already is a thriving community of large residential lots in a natural setting. This city has gained national attention for its environmentally sensitive land use regulations. A group of citizens and city officials are beginning the process of developing a Master Parks Plan for the city of Wildwood.
While retaining a "small town" atmosphere, the friendly community of Eureka's location just 45 minutes from both the airport and downtown St. Louis gives its residents access to "big city" events. Each year, between two and three million people visit Eureka in order to enjoy the rides and attractions of Six Flags St. Louis. In addition, there are six parks and a host of other recreational and cultural opportunities for the enjoyment of residents and visitors alike.
